I'd like to advertise a proxy site http://wsfw.net

What should I do to help increase traffic to it?

I also want to know what I should do to increase traffic to my proxy website.

I also think that this should go in the General Business section.

Submit to directories, buy banner spots at popular proxies.

If you are not interested in purchasing advertising then your proxy is probably making what it will for life already.

Paid advertising works very well for proxies and you can usually get back your advertising expenses within a day or 2.

A general set of "rules" for promoting a proxy are:

    Day 1
    Build a proxy.
    Submit it to several directories/topsites.

    Day 2-5
Check your advertiser earnings and decide you want more.

    Day 6
Purchase some advertising - one of the most effective ads you can purchase is an email directed to a list of opt-in subscribers looking for fresh proxies

    Day 7-8
Check advertising earnings and realise that the $10 you spent has already been returned to you and some.

Day 9+ you are into reasonable profits and start looking for a dedicated server so you can wash, rinse, repeat the above.
