Hi there, I'm in the process of creating my own article website where people can: Author articles and submit them, View free articles and use them, Buy original (and verified) articles, Order specific articles. I was also contemplating a submit-to-use scheme, whereby a user can use one free article but then must submit one to use another, or another few. I could implement a bidding area for unique articles too. Here's the website thus far: www.ArticulateArticles.com Only the main page is finished. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. I may sell this as soon as all features have been programmed and tested. Would anyone hazard a guess at a reasonable price, for such a website? Thanks, Brum.
I personally think that the first page (homepage) is not convincing enough. Remember, first impression lasts and it will take 30 seconds for a visitor to leave your site. Look at how the other successful websites like ezinearticles.com or associatedcontent.com are doing in their landing page.
Well, they sure do have their content on there, but I feel it's too much to take in. I believe easy-on-the-eyes without irrelevant information is what people want. I'm going to add "Latest articles" to the page to help.
