I have finished a new book on making $1k+ a month blogging without using ads or affiliate programs. This is a unique well tested method. http://passivegoal.com/smart-blogger/ I am offering 50% commission on all sales. Sign up in the middle of the page to get access to the affiliate center that features auto-generated (based on Your CB username) 1-click code that can be copied and pasted. I've put a lot of effort into making some interesting and high-converting promotional materials such as: - "Peel-out" ad in the right hand corner of a site - Banners - Free .txt files such as reviews, testimonials and feature lists that can be copied and pasted - Buzz generator to auto-pull leads from social networks - Regular basic text links I spent 3 months working just on the site, not to mention the book. So I would love some feedback. You can check out the control panel - just enter the details in the middle of the page. You don't have to enter a real e-mail, it will still work the same, except the free book won't be e-mailed, that's the single difference. http://passivegoal.com/smart-blogger/ Thanks for checking it out
Thanks. I've also now updated it to make it easier for affiliates. You can check out the affiliate panel here: http://passivegoal.com/smart-blogger/referral.php
$35 Supper, why would I buy a new domain? It's under the Products section on my blog. Otherwise no-one would buy it if I put it up on a new domain with PR0 and no visitors. Edit. But yes, I do make enough, I own about 20 domains already, and make a fair bit per month. But I don't see the need to make 5743 sites for each new page, product, or review I want to do.
You can always filter traffic to the site, and for the sake of affiliates that promote it too. I would never promote a product in a sub domain. I'm not saying you need a new domain name for each review or page, but a product, yes.
Traffic bleeds off to your main page. The point of a sales letter is that they can only scroll down and read. There's no way off the page, but the order button. When it's in a subdirectory, surfers will go "hmmm, wonder what's on the front page" and they go to it, and dang affiliate is out of a sale, but I'm sure you'll make some money on it.
Lilac2, I have to go with Supper on this one. You need to get yourself a new domain for your product. It will give the product more authority and not all affiliates will promote a product with a sub-domain like yours. If you make enough money every month, a new domain name will not hurt you mate. Good Luck Mega
Hell yeah, there's no way that I would promote that product as it is. You need a stand alone site and domain to push that product. I don't want the traffic I send there leaking off and wandering to other parts of your blog, that's not what I send traffic there for.
Ok, thanks for your comments. Based on my research I like it the way it is though. I think a separate domain would hurt it. I don't see any reason at all it's worse off connected to a blog. It's better because people see that I'm not just trying to sell them something. If you go to the blog you'll see the bottom of every post pushes the product in any case. But it's up to you if you think it's not a product worth promoting.
