I've finally launched my new product on clickbank! :D

It is an original written e-book, a complete guide about niche websites. Since niche websites are very popular today this product can become a real seller. It just needs good promotion.

You can earn 50% as an affiliate!

Please visit the sales page and if you like the product sign as an affiliate.

    Sales page: http://www.nichewebsiteguide.com

    Affiliates page: http://www.nichewebsiteguide.com/affiliates.php

    Thank you.

With your 50% commission its not worthed for affiliates. Keep in mind that affiliates do all the hard work for you + they have advertisement costs to cover + there are loads of similar products with a 75% commission......

So if you want to do anything, offer at least a 75% commission + bonuses if you can.

    Cheers!

Well, after all the work involved this is a really delicate aspect.... but I decided to offer 65% to all affiliates! That's $17.36 on every sale!

That may seem a lot to you but I'd imagine you are up against a lot of similar products and the more competition there is the more work an affiliate has to do to get the sales.

There is a reason vendors offer 75% it's because they know that kind of commission will get affiliates promoting their product and although the vendor may only get a small piece of the pie, if the product is attracting a lot of affiliates then that's a lot of little pieces of pie that you are going to end up getting which makes $$ in your back pocket.

The commission will remain 65%. I know what I've written in this book, so I'm not afraid of the competition :)

Please post your ideas and thoughts. Thank you all who participated so far.

I don't really like the sales page.

~ So, what exactly do you mean by "maximize"? Maybe you should be a little more specific and give an approximate figure.

~ Same thing goes for "revenue" - maybe you could be a little more specific? How would one be getting this "revenue"? PayPal?

~ It just seems really boring and basic to me.

Example: How to find the proper niche

Maybe you could try something like; How to find HIGHLY profitable niches in under 5 minutes!

Or something like that.. :D I'm no copywriter, just an idea.

Not sure what else could be fixed. Those are the two that just stuck out to me most.

I'm not trying to bull anyone.... so I'm not going to give "fictional" numbers like many do.
Thank you for all ideas... I might take some into consideration.

Thats right, keep in mind that if affiliates use ppc they have costs and risk to go under + sometimes they are fortunate to get even 25% in profit/sale.

Having a 75% commission mean more affiliates which mean more money for you....its as easy as that...this is why the top products on clickbank give the 75% with no exception...its not because they like giving commission, its just because they profit more at the end...

hi bluemouse most affiliates usually go for products with commission payout of 75% which is better because of clickbank fees which they take.

I currently promote products ranging from 50% up anyway and was wondering about your product as I just looked through the sales page.

Can you tell me what you are currently converting it at?

I don't worry too much about the % the publisher pays out - only how much money that actually is. Honestly I don't get people's obsession with the %. Who cares really? It's the actual amount that I care about. 75% of $50 ain't as good as 50% of $100.

Also what really matters in the end is the overall ROI. If I can get 1/50 conversion with bluemouse getting a $17 commission that's better than 1/100 somewhere else with $25 commissions.

That being said, I normally don't promote products with commissions under $20 - but I have made a few exceptions in the high teens and done well with those products.

Bluemouse - I'll send a little traffic your way and see how it goes.

I'm realizing how important affiliates are. Their work must be rewarded. So I'm offering 75% commission. That's $20. Thank you for wanting to promote this product.

Sales page has been improved. Any opinions are welcome. Thanks.

Good to see you listening to your potential affiliates - I will also reiterate what Zibblu said as I also follow that - % is over-rated, it's the actual monetary value per conversion that should concern everyone...

Best of luck with your prog.
