Hi guys, I'm launching two sales pages -- same ebook guide, but promoting it as two different entities: RunYourCarWithElectricity.com + Electricity4Gas.com It may be a rookie publisher mistake, to launch 2 products/sales pages, but both pages have a different 'look and feel' to them. I thought I'd give affiliates the choice, as to which type of sales page they'd like to promote. I must admit, I've taken a few ideas and lines from Swerds E4E for my sales pages (I figure I'm not in direct competition, so I hope you don't mind mate) I believe this product is great for customers that are interested in/or looking at information related to : - Electric cars - Saving Gas/Improving Gas Mileage - Cars/autos in general - Saving/helping the environment If you've been hit by google stopping your water car ads, this could be a good opportunity to replace your lost income with RunYourCarWithElectricity and/or Electricity4Gas Site details are below: URL: http://www.runyourcarwithelectricity.com Affiliate Payout: 75% of $49.97 Affiliate Hop Link: http://xxxxx.holtebook1.hop.clickbank.net Affiliate Page: http://www.runyourcarwithelectricity.com/affiliates.html URL: http://www.electricity4gas.com Affiliate Payout: 75% of $49.97 Affiliate Hop Link: http://xxxxx.holtebook9.hop.clickbank.net Affiliate Page: http://www.electricity4gas.com/affiliates.html I've only just started promoting the sites myself today, so no results to report yet. (Probably another rookie mistake launching too early, but I wanted to get the word out asap) Any suggestions or recommendations you have to give me, are welcome.
Not an expert man, but I think you need to improve the graphics and the top banner, you need a proper banner instead of a picture, and some nice texture for the background, currently the background is just plain black color. I'm not a publisher tho, so they'll be the better judge of your product
Man, no offense but those are some really ahm..ugly graphics, why not improve your landing page first and then launch?
Thanks for the tips ripped & inzpiration. DomainCo, like I said I can't really give you any figures just yet... If you're going to do the ppc, maybe just set a small budget to start with and see how it goes. (I'm setting my ppc as we speak, so will get back to you in a few days)
Sorry if it was not clear. What I meant is how much will it cost to make your car to run on water. What knowledge do you need?
It's my understanding (a mate that's more handy with a car than me, put together the manual - I'm heading up the promotion side) that, realistically you need some mechanical knowledge to carry it out, and it can be done for under $500 (providing you find free parts)
Yes just change your sales page i mean it could be more better than this one. One more thing i want to ask you that are giving a review copy for your affiliates if yes then i am the one who will join as your affiliate. Thanks Syed
Your top banner is lacking a lot. This is an "intruig" (Can't spell) product which means that people need to get EXACTLY what it's offering them on the outset. When I saw it, I was like - so you want me to buy an electric car? How do you make the car run on electricity? Is it efficient? Those are all points which need to be covered.
I totally agree with Popedope above me here. I think you've got a great idea but the execution is poor. I've thought about implementing something like this in one of my future products. Here's how I would go about it.... Set up two completely different sales pages. Maybe hire different designers to do them. You can have very similar sales copy as that's what's going to cause your customer's to convert. Set up two different pub accounts so you can have two different listings in the marketplace. I think the motivation for implementing two different sales pages would be to attract affiliates to promote both of your products. Perhaps on a review page where you get listed as #1 and #2. Plus, if it's a new market, you can get the top couple of products right away. It would be harder to overtaken.
It might not appear like it to most of you, but I actually spent alot of time putting it all together. I'm actually pretty happy with what I came up with (and it might end up being a failure, but I don't think I'll be able to come up with much better) I've made a couple of sales, and a few affiliates have made a sale. Maybe being a publisher is not for me, but I'll just see how it goes for now. Anyways thanks for the advice and constructive criticism. Cheers!
For anyone following this thread, I've decided to concentrate my efforts on electricity4gas.com It was making much better conversions than runyourcarwithelectricity, so I decided to concentrate on electricity4gas.com more, fix it up a little, add some more details about the manual, and some more copy, and add a new background (I had an attempt at creating one.) Hopefully doing this might make it more appealing for some more of you guys out there, to have a go at promoting it.
Nice new product. Will look into it. In the meantime you may want to promote at my forum GasPumpStop.com/forum/
