Thought I'd take a little time to give an update, and to offer a word of advice that I hope will be helpful to current and future affiliates:
Do not attempt PPC advertising with google's adwords unless you have a twist/clever strategy/or novel approach to try.
Why? Bid prices on the 'basic' keywords surrounding 'home surveillance' in the Adwords network are ridiculously high. Here's a screenshot of google's keyword tool showing some of the bid prices....



If there are some companies that really think they can make a profit off of $6+ bids, then they can have it... However, don't you waste your money this way.

What do I recommend?

• If you want to do PPC, target more obscure keywords like 'monitor your home' with a bid of $.10, or even 'catch a cheating spouse' at a bid of $1.40. Here is a link to the google keyword tool where you can check the bid prices for yourself.
• You can still try PPC, perhaps with a smaller network like Bidvertiser or any of the others. Here is a list of online advertisers you could try.
• One idea that won't cost you a penny is to leverage web 2.0 properties to your advantage. Squidoo, hubpages, twitter, etc are all great, free ideas! Here is a list of web 2.0 sites to try out.
• Articles submitted to ezines and other article directories work quite well also and that method is also completely free. Here is a list of article directories listed by alexa rank.

Why am I taking the time to write this all up? Because I am a vendor who really cares about my affiliates and want to see them succeed. Over the past few years, I myself have made the mistake of throwing money at adwords only to see high bid prices ruin my efforts, and I just want to do what I can so that this doesn't happen to any of my affiliates. We're in this together guys, as what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Don't hesitate to contact me with help on a particular strategy, or anything else at all. Thanks again to all those who have made this product a success.

Lastly, here are some recent conversion stats. When targeted to the right crowd, it's been proven that this product can sell, and we have yet to have a single refund.
