Hey Guys, I am now trying my hand on the publisher side of things. I created a Filmmaking Guide that I think is actually pretty cool. I have been working on it for a while, and I just got approved this morning with Clickbank. Let me know what you think of my sales page, etc... Any input is greatly appreciated...especially tips on how to get more affiliates and leverage the clickbank army. www.NoBudgetFilmMaking.com
Definitely. Last night listening to Jeff Mulligan on our esteemed Clickbank University, he talked about sending 200 free copies of a product of his to influential people... Always a good idea... But you need to find who can help you.
That is a great looking product! One thing you could do is to use your film-making skills and put together a product video. Then leave it in avi format and post a link to in on your affiliate page. Then affiliates can edit it, and post it to youtube and the other video sites. Aspiring youtube stars would love a product like this.
Hehehe JJ407 I think flip was talking about sending the review copy to affiliates, the ones that will be selling and pushing your product. If you hook me up with a review copy, and the product is good I will post up a few reviews and maybe even build up a blog around the Niche I think it is a very good niche and the sales page looks good.
Haha nice, I love it. Here's what you need to do now in order: 1. Drive some PPC traffic to it and test, test, test (test headlines, test images, test EVERYTHING). 2. Get some conversion rates from PPC traffic 3. Add a blog to the site on domain.com/blog and add some juicy posts to give future prospects a "taste" 4. Send review copies to the top amateur film magazines / forums on the net and get some feedback 5. Post some nice vids on Youtube for the masses 6. Work with some of the larger players in your niche and get them to promote it 7. Reep the rewards & improve.
Hey! I am a filmmaker and own a little filmmaking/video editing company! I would love to review the product for you! Cheers, Alex
Your PPC competition right now is selling his/her product for 229.99 USD. Hmmm, wonder how well he converts? I second that video, it would be great. Something viral would be great.
I know...most of these film training products are hundreds of dollars...that's why I wanted to offer something that was affordable. I think I am going to start working on a video tomorrow. Thanks guys!
killer sales page. you could probably sell this for $47. This will give your affiliates more money per sale, which will allow them to place a higher CPC on keywords.
You could sell this even more than $47 (but under $100) For this kind of products, even if you want to provide an affordable offer, the product must not be cheap, cheap meaning poor quality And I think that conversions will not be affected by the price difference so much A product more expensive = quality product + affiliates happy to sell it
OK, first off... I don't know squat about film making... BUT, your sales page rocks.... it almost makes me want to buy it and I really dont have any interest in film making I might not know about making films, but I do know about affiliate marketing, sales pages, and have a pretty good eye for what seems to be a reasonable price.... and... I say, INCREASE THE PRICE! If this product really is what you say it is on your sales page, Increase the price. Others have said it, but higher price = higher percieved quality and increased chance affiliates will want to sell it Good luck!
Awesome sales page. Videos are getting to be huge in IM. I would target the internet marketers by writing a sales page targeting them exclusively.
Good idea, but I think that would require a different approach. Maybe I will make a seperate product targeting Internet Marketers that discusses how to make good, sale driving videos. [Jason adds this idea to his 37 page list of things to do]
I've been working on building my ppc campaigns...not much luck though...I'm still a little bit of a noob. I am not really getting many sales yet, but also, haven't sent a ton of traffic yet either. If anyone has any helpful ideas as to what might help it sell better...feel free to chime in. I think I am going to try to test some different stuff on the landing page. Just not sure what to change. Any input would be great! I think it is just a matter of getting to the proper niche audience of wanna be filmmakers.
