New Product in the DIY energy niche (Something Unique)

This is a product I was planning on announcing in the spring. However, I decided to go ahead and let everyone know about it.

It is in the DIY energy niche but it is not another e4e. The product is a 90+ page manual on how to build your own solar water heater.

If you have a list from promoting e4e or a like product, this would be a great one to email out. I sold it to a list I had and it converted around 5% but they were pretty targeted. I tested it before putting it on clickbank to get an idea of how well it would convert.

I really do not have any affiliate tools with it as of yet. The price point is $29.99 with 75% payout.

The website is understated and simple to appeal to the target audience.

    Here is the website

As always, I am open to any comments.

I have had several request via pm to add some banners to the affiliate resource area. I have just added 4 banners to the page. I hope these will help those that were looking for them and future affiliates of this unique product.

One affiliate added this to their home energy review page as a low cost alternative and converted at 1 in 12. This did not change conversions of the main product.

I was starting to get interested on the product and all of a sudden I see that it comes with some bonuses called: Run your car on water and Run your car on air...you lost me right there. Those are complete bs man you know that....I dont know but a smart buyer just wouldn't buy after reading the bonuses...but then...its a clickbank product so you may not be targeting smart buyers...hmmm

That is not a bad point. I was offering them more as informational rather than a viable product. The air engine actually just talks about the technology and shows different patents and such.

I will consider losing the bonuses all together. It could add a "scammy" feel to this and it is anything but.

    thanks for the input.

Just a suggestion, you could rename your fuel guide as "the expert mechanics guide to tripling your mileage" or something along those lines. A better bonus might be a guide to slashing electricity bills or saving on power altogether though.

    Good luck.

Yea, there are some good PLR ebooks on saving electricity at home, would be a great combination here. There is also a PLR ebook that is much like e4e, may want to consider using those two, would be great bonuses.

Thanks for the tips and the heads up. I have changed the bonuses on the page. Not sure what I was thinking before.

Well it looks like the change in bonuses may have made an impact. Way too early to tell and way too few affiliates promoting but the one affiliate that is promoting has had a 10% conversion today. He was converting at about 2% before.

    Hopefully not just a fluke.

Wanted to show recent conversions for the solar water heater product. Only 2 affiliates have really tried promoting.

There is obviously a lot of opportunity for sales as proven by the first affiliate.

The refund was from someone who accidentally paid twice.

Thanks for the reminder, I'd forgotten about this product.

Over what period of time were those hops produced?
