New Product coming Online

I represent a company that started selling a new product online. It is a gardening/hydroponic product. Several product packages from $50-150. I can give a flat 10% commision across the board on all products. My question is, is it worthwhile to go with someone established like CJ or someone else because they have the internet real estate already setup? Or should I look for some affiliate software and try to promote on my own? Would 10% on that range of product prices attract enough people to try it on my own? Any insight would be great. Thanks Hair

I personally favor independent affiliate programs rather than the giant networks...both as an affiliate marketer and affiliate program owner/manager. People will tell you the independent programs can go "belly up" and leave you high and dry, but that has also happened to me with a few network affiliates. I also like the "extra attention" with an independent.

As far as affiliate commissions, I don't know what it costs you to produce your products, but give you affiliates the highest percentage commission you can. Remember, they are the ones bringing you customers you would not necessarily get otherwise.
