    Tip #1.

Never just show up to market with 'TADAAA - Here's my pitch page go promote suckas'!.

    * It's brand spanking new

    * It has no stats/conversion tests, you're using DP members as your guinea pigs, only silly noobs will touch it now, and your aff overlap will be big, easy come easy go, usually how these unproven product launches go.

    * Next time, put your sales page up and actually make sales, document them, give out real time conversions with paypal or whatever making sure the thing will even convert.

    * Show up with stats/conversions and you'll get TONS of affiliates - Continue to do this you'll skim a few of the noobs and you'll cross your fingers hoping they create success for you on a whim.

    * [IMG]

^ I love when people take my graphics and just change a few things around... I'll stop my feedback here (EDIT: Noticed you copied a few other parts/edited text etc lol, [borat voice] very nice).

** Below is my custom made graphic from http://www.cupidscure.com How hard can it be to grab a few logo's and be original - wait let me guess what you'll say - - "My designer did it, i had no idea" - - ok... Makes me question the whole thing, ebook included.

I personally hate those graphics, no offense but I don't find them very aesthetic anymore ...

Let alone being effective .. They're rather annoying..

Just a quick question as I've been lurking myself into the relationship niche but I can't think of a target market for this product...

    ..

Love is universal but definitely there's no secret behind a love relationship ... It's something magic... and everyone that's been there knows it.

Don't think an ebook can solve so many issues that two people experience in a love relationship.

    Best of luck ..

Haha, that was actually kind of funny, NCMedia :) But buy the ebook, you will be surprised. Might be something to bundle with that cupidscure of yours.
Sorry about the image, but it is a nice image, I can tell my graphics guy to redesign/remove it.

The site has been active less then 24 hours, we have some affiliates, so the stats will come. Will provide as soon as I have something.

And precious007, the target market would be every unhappy housewife in America, so the market is endless.
This ebook will provide the knowledge and tools to avoid many of the issues that two people experience in a love relationship.

Your showing the Order Now button too soon.. The niche is very tough so nothing lesser than GREAT will work here.

Read through NCMedia's post again - you will learn a lot, and I do not think he is trying to be harsh with you after all you did rip off his/our graphics so it can blow the whole credibility of your product.

Like is the ebook someone else's too? I am sure it is not the case but gets you thinking...

Also just because you are live at Clickbank for under 24 hours does not mean that you could not have done any testing use a paypal button to test conversions.

I also have a bit of advice to start you off, please do not take offense:

Affiliates are not stupid and will not just blindly promote your product until it has proven itself to convert so by testing for conversions FIRST you are saving yourself a lot of time and effort.

Took me a long time to figure that one out!

Also i like your page - but you can do so much more with it!

    Do it properly!

Dont just think "Right that looks like a good niche, steal that banner, copy and paste that ebook there, submit to clickbank, done!".......er......NO!

Go back over the whole site, be creative, use your own ideas and make the page HOT!

Then come back and you never know you might have a winner!

    Good luck with it,

    All the best

    Chris

I was just thinking about the commission...nice you have changed it to 75%. Concerning the banner, I do not think it even fits there, it stands out...you can see that it was not designed for this page. Finally, even though I have very little experience with this niche, I think the sales page is way to short for this niche, but this is just me.

I appreciate your comments Chris, but come on give me break, enough with the accusations about the ebook beign copied etc.
Yes I admit, this is our first CB launch/product, we may be noobs and you the pro. Our graphics guy got and idea from your "banner", and copied it.
It's not like you own the rights to the different logos you used in it, so he took a shortcut.

If you look at the bottom on your Cupids Cure page you have a "Add To Cart" button, did you make it from scratch? I think not, you copied it and made some changes :) It is very original though, found on hundreds of other sites ;)

But as i said, I appreciate both yours and NCMedia, and all the other comments. I will go over the whole site again.

    Regards,

    Tobias

    1. Yes, I want you to ask your designer to remove it please, or come up with your own.

    2. The Belcher button you pointed out, is free to use for anyone, there is even a website that is made for nothing but distributing them, and look it's even called the Belcher button. That's where I got that, and customized it further, not taking from an active competing site Tobias. I got it from the source, that is royalty free and is used on thousands of sites - not just Norb's portfolio.

    3. I appreciate that you appreciate, yet still you shrugged it off, it 'was kinda funny' to you, and decided to try to be defensive... Poor new vendor is getting picked on for stealing, awww let's feel sorry for him and get defensive too. When really, if your 'designer' did it, and your 'copywriter' rewrote our punches, who knows what your 'ebook writer' wrote - so yeah you are in a good position to have your whole project looked at sideways.

    4. You should be glad I did take it with a grain of salt, and as I said, that graphic is but ONE thing I noticed you grab including the line above this graphic and various other pieces of text that I as the copywriter for this can tell you/'your writer' scooped and subtlely altered...

Thanks, I'm not out to get you mate, in fact I started this with honest feedback, but your response is too 'haha' for me when in my eyes you just ripped and rewrote portions of our sales page into a mini version, plus grabbed gfx and text. AND as I guessed - your response 'my designer did it'... right, sorry I don't believe you. Your designer copied our graphic, your copywriter did the same? Are they the same person? You didn't by chance TELL them to copy certain sites/books did you? Being a vendor, new or not, I KNOW you did competitive intel, I KNOW you would have noticed the similarites/dupes.

Best of luck none the less, and realize the more people you can cater to without pissing off or copying your competitors, the more success you stand to have, the more defensive and 'right' you try to be, the more it will work against you.

Yeah I think sales letter is a bit too short as well. Also, maybe you should add some pictures in your testimonials.

EDIT: ^ You know what - forget about it, keep using the graphic and best of luck with your future products. I'm being harsh because when I spend my time building something, be it a collection of properly placed logo's, and someone scoops it with some copy to boot - yeah I'm going to call you out every time.

Enjoy the shortcut, next time be proactive not reactive, double check your designer/copywriter/book writers validity and or tell them not to take shortcuts/copy competitors. It's a low blow, and again I won't be convinced that this whole thing was an accident with gfx and copy, but whatever, enough time wasted on this now, I should have taken a shortcut...

    Hi again,

It was not my intention to trivialize about the fact that the banner came from your site.

We have removed the banner now. We have also gone over the pitch page, in order to identify the "various other pieces of text" you where refering to. Please let me know it you still feel that is the case.

I did not know about the "Belcher button", good to know for future projects.

We also added som more text to the pitch page, so all in all I think it looks better now.

    Regards,

    Tobias
