    There is no new process introduced yet. It's just that old methods are getting saturated and SEO has not been only option to increase your traffic. You should try other methods too which increases your referral traffic plus adds value to your SEO process.

    You have to put serious efforts in link building aside from integrating SEO in the title, meta description, content, and keyword density. There are a lot of ways to do link building like article submission, commenting on blogs, etc. But the used of SOCIAL MEDIA will do great for you--just be consistent.

    hi.. i think SMO and Link Building is good technique and Content should be Unique and every submission should be with high PR site(article submission,blog post,book marking etc)..
