Seems this new "PPP" revolution is starting to get some national press coverage. Those 5 second audio only ads by V2P Communications was recently mentioned in The Wall Street Journal in an article titled, "New Services Help Bloggers Bring in Ad Revenue".

They say PPP is a new tool for 2008 and is geared toward more monetization of your websites. They also have stated that the advertiser will be paying at least $14 per 1,000 plays... of which... the publisher is paid 25% of this. That equates to a consistant $3.50 CPM rate if their figures are correct and much higher than what most of us are earning elsewhere.

Hopefully 2008 is the year we start making some cash...

I'm in the beta for this PPP program, supposed to launch on Feb 1st I think. Will see how it goes. Might make up for terrible adsense earnings while not being as annoying as auto playing video ads are. At least I hope so.
