Do you accept proxy sites, as in do you allow ads to be placed on proxied pages and not just the index page? Also just to clarify, you assert that advertistic ads can be placed right next to google adsense ads without violating google or advertistic TOS?

    @ Wormy:

Yes, we do accept proxy sites including the proxied pages (although we find these these can produce low CTRs). As far as google adsense ads go, we have been informed that non-contextual ads can be run on the same pages as Adsense, but you should make your own enquiries to verify this as we cannot accept responsibility (sorry to be vague on this, but thats Google!)

    @ fuse-box:

Thank you for your kind words.

I've just visited your site - looks serious enough to be the competition of the Adsense. Congratulations!

I've been banned from Adsense some time ago. The reason is unknown to me: maybe someone was making excessive clicks on my ads in purpose to harm me, maybe my site was too-blended... I don't know (I guess you realize there are many dissapointed adsense publishers out there with the same problem; they followed the Adsense TOS and still got banned for some reasons known only to Adsense).
I read publisher FAQ, and my question is this: If I become a publisher at Advertistic, will I lose my sleep over night over the same worries? I mean, is there some system that protects me from fraudlent clicks on my site? And would I be punished for making the ads on my site too-blended in the content? In a few words, how can I prevent being banned (if I stick to your rules in FAQ)?

    question to advertistic...
Can we blend ads REALLY WELL but not encourage clicking on them? I can't think of any specific examples RIGHT NOW but i'll repost with some examples.

    @ imbrod:

We have measures in place to detect click-fraud as you would expect. All I can say on this is that you will not ever receive an immediate ban. It is more likely that you will have fraud-generated commisssion reversed and receive a warning notifying you of the general reason for the warning. We try to be as fair as possible on this, but we do not tolerate any click fraud. The eventual outcome is a ban, if the warnings have not been acted upon.

    @ Arkserver:

I have added the $5 to your account. Thank you.

    @Dominicc:

You are able to blend ads as long as there is no incentivized message or encouragement to click. I would be pleased to assess any examples you can provide.

Thank you all for your questions and feedback. Please keep them coming!

Does anyone know how many ppc programs are out there, and which ones are the best for advertisers & publishers to use?

    Hey Dave,

I just started running Advertistic ads on one of my sites. It says you have unbranded ads but their is an advertise here link in my ads and in the code it says I cannot remove it.

Also wondering where I should see the $5 credit.

My only criticism from new publishers point of view is that the control panel is a little hard to figure out I can see how new people would get lost easily.

It would be much nicer/easier for most if you had ad unit choices like adsense has but I do have to admit being able to customize the ads rocks.

Thank you again for your comments! It really is very helpful.

    @ lfcfan:

We are due to launch our official referral programme in the first week of January which will be done by URL tracking.

    @ Prez:

Feel free to remove the 'advertise here' link. We have now changed our policy on this, and I have asked our tech guy to remove the comment code accordingly (should be done today).

The $5 credit is added manually to your account details and then credited at the time of the first payout. This will be detailled on your payout summary.

Thank you also for your feedback on the control panel. We actively decided not to have defined ad sizes to allow publishers to completely customise their own to fully integrate them into their sites (including font, etc), but I do realise that defined ads may be easier for some people to 'install'. We will keep an eye on other publishers feedback on this and change if necessary.

Don't forget that we run a live help system, so any problems, give us a shout!

    Thanks again.
