New powerful tool for Clickbank affiliates and perhaps for publishers too

It has been more than 18 months since I've launched cb-analytics.com.

It's time for something new and interesting. So today I'm announcing cb-monitor.com. It is a tool that addresses several common issues that affect clickbank affiliates.

In a nutshell it helps you answer the question: Does specific product that I'm promoting and clickbank in general work end-to-end so I'll get commission if the customer I've referred buys the product?

This is crucial to PPC affiliates and quite important to people who use organic traffic as faulty system will cause you to loose money and miss revenues.

ClickBank Monitor constantly runs tests on clickbank and product websites to make sure that the whole system works. Here's what it does specifically:
    • Every minute it hits product hoplink and then payment page to verify that they load and that affiliate ID if correctly passed.
    • Every minute it verifies that clickbank stat's page loads
    • Every minute it verifies clickbank system status page for new status messages and officially reported status changes.
    • For every product it verifies that hoplink resolves to a valid address that contains a valid page. Every time product landing page address or content changes, notification is sent.

    How to use it:
You can use most of the functionality of ClickBank Monitor without creating an account on the website. All pages and RSS feeds are accessible without having to log in:
    • http://cb-monitor.com/overview shows current global clickbank system status, active outages and global message log as well as numbers of products that are currently passing and failing tests. This page has two RSS feeds - one that aggregates messages from all products (if case you are interested) and onther one for messages that are only related to clickbank in general.
    • http://cb-monitor.com/earth4 - sample product page - contains information about specific product, it's history and uptime statistics. it has RSS feed of messages that are related to this specific product
    • You can either search products though searchbox in the header or browse them in a list.
If you decide to create an account on the website - absolutely free for the time being and I promise I'll not spam your email with any kind of junk except of things related to operation of the website and system status notifications that you subscribe to. After creating account you'll receive verification email.
Once you are logged in you'll have have the ability to add products to your watchlist: http://cb-monitor.com/watch-list. When you are browsing product lists you'll notice "eye" icon that you can use to add and remove products to your watchlist. On the watchlist you'll see two controls that allow you to subscribe to email notifications either releated to the watched products, clickbank in general or both. Watchlist page also has an rss feed with URL something like this: http://cb-monitor.com/rss?key=903acc116b1d13243e35f2e339ceaf4 (this particular one will not work) that you can subscribe to using your favorite RSS reader. This feed will contain messages related to your watched products.

Please consider that this product is in "alpha" stage and is likely to contain bugs and not work 100% reliably. I'm releasing to public for early testing so that I can make it production quality sooner.

Please post your feedback and suggestions either in this thread or to the contact information listed on the website.

    I hope you enjoy it!

BTW since cb-monitor verifies that affiliate id is passed correctly from hoplink to payment link it would also catch Clickbank should they try to "shave". Although so far quite predictably it didn't
