New plugin version notification

    Do you know how often checks every WordPress instance new versions of installed plugins from the official directory?

    I believe it's when ever a new version of the plug in is released and published to the Wordpress Repository.
    I don't think there is a set schedule.

    I do not think so. I released several versions of my plugin and it took a long time than each new plugin notification appeared in the administration area.
