New Planet Discovered !!! - Gliese 581g which is not more hot and not more cold will there be any living people?
Just came to know about it from your thread and did some research too. Don't know if people ever get there but I'm pretty sure that someone got a script for his new movie to get started with.
Before this thread, i actually dont know about this planet. I will find some cool stuff about this planet and tell you everything. Anyways thanks for updating me for this info.
I just looked it up. It seem that the planet has the right distance between the sun and it self but its mass and rotatio around the sun is a huge problem. The planet is said to be about 3 to 4 times the size of earth. Depending on what its made of You could have masive gravitational forces that will crush life such as a human but not bacteria. The planet completes a full rotation withen 37 earth day. Wow. Life on earth depends on seasons that last way longer than that. Im not sure what would servive on a planet that has four seasons lasting just a little over a week.
Nice and this planet named as Gliese 581, was discovered in April 2007 and It is located some 20 light years from Earth that is a light year corresponds to the distance that light travels in one year, about 10,000 billion kilometers – in the constellation Libra. And if it is substantially the same size as our good old planet blue, it seems to have a mass three times that of Earth. But You informed me late, I have already booked my holiday resort there to spend my sweet days. No need to worry, I just kidding....
Even if it is suitable for people to live, it is too far to get there. What's more, it will be cost so much that we can not afford. I think the best way is to protect the environment of earth, and we just live here happily and need not to go that far. But it seems people are more hot on the idea of find new planets. How stupid it is!
I can't wait till we actually start making a move to live on that planet! But most likely it won't happen in my time... Guess I'll have to wait...
Basing on what the researchers and discoverers said, considering how big the universe is, it is still a 'neighbor' to us. Only that it will take us generations to get there. LOL.
