Hello there, I have just signed up as I have a website that I am not sure what to do with - keep it and keep trying to improve it or look to sell it (just being honest!). I thought I would say hello and I think I will post in the website review section as well to see what people think of where I am going and if they can provide any advise, etc. Anyway for now just saying hello!
Determining whether to sell your website or not will depend on several factors. Here are just a few to consider: 1) Quality of domain - is it a major TLD (com, net, org)? is it brandable? is it aged and reputable? 2) Your site's niche - is it interesting and/or profitable? 3) Your site's traffic - does it receive traffic? If so, organic (natural) or paid? Do you have statistics? 4) Quality of content &/or design - Is your site developed? If so, is the content useful and unique or is it poorly spun? Is your site functional without errors, bugs, and security vulnerabilities? 5) Does your site make money? If so, do you have stats to prove it? These are just a few factors to consider when selling your site. Fact is, if the site makes money then it is sellable. If the site holds no value, it will be much more difficult to convince a potential buyer to pull the trigger. Good luck to you and your endeavors.
Thank you for your advise kingipod and for the offer se7ens, I will get in touch if need be I am pretty happy with the site and it does make money but I am not sure I want the continual upkeep with new articles etc - it takes time away that I want to focus on other things, as always I suppose!
