I have been going through HELL with a business partner of mine. Trying to get money sent to Canada from England. You'd think, since we're a sovereign nation, we'd be able to do this easily, and bank transfers should be easier than sending them to the states in my opinion. Paypal won't let the money through without putting a hold on it or sending it as an e-check. Trying to order some computers from a local wholesaler... NOPE won't accept cards issued outside Canada and the US. Great. They tell us we can do a bank deposit, but claim they don't have a routing number. Gawd. Is there anyone having problems like this with International transfers from large 1st world countries? Anyone in England have a paypal account that's working properly for transfers to somebody in Canada? I'm looking for outside the box solutions to make this work. We have bills to pay and equipment to purchase for our company but are getting severely behind, dealing with this. Wasting time trying to make things work and not getting things done as planned. Well thanks for letting me vent, I was getting pissed off about this one, didn't want to end up snapping on my business partner, not his fault. Anyone know of any services that accept AMEX or Moneybookers and can then pay out through to a Paypal account quickly? We tried Western Union too, but I don't know he didn't like them for some reason, I think they told him it might take a week to get this far.... Anywho, I'll go back to re-organizing my office and try not to think about it. Anyone here use Moneybookers for a long time? I've been with Paypal for 10 years almost now.... Business partner wants me to get a Moneybookers account, I'd rather keep every thing in one place but I see that's not feasible here...
How about trying to send International Bank Draft, you can buy that in your local bank and send overseas.

Yeah I see that I will no longer be able to use paypal exclusively. It was working so well that I worried about nothing else. Now it's definitely dropping back into the 'additional payment options' category. I think we have the solutions for our current situation figured out, Moneybookers has been more effective it seems, so if I can't find a contact with a Moneybookers and a paypal account I will probably just finish verifying my moneybookers, alertpay and neteller accounts. Thanks for the input. Anyone out there found an all in one solution yet? I need the instant access vie Maestro card, Neteller seems to have that too, and I guess I could deal with it in the form of a debt card instead of on the mastercard network.
