Hello, I previously had a premier account with Paypal. I had to close it because the email I used for that was hacked by someone else. Shortly after sometime I got a chargeback on some 20$ or so on my closed Paypal account and my account went to negative (Account was closed earlier). Right now I want to open a Paypal account to avail the services here in DP as I see most people accept only Paypal. My question is can I open a new account in my name and details which was exactly the same as in my old paypal account. Even though it was closed, I read somewhere that they do not delete the records from their database. So do I stand a chance to be caught for multiple accounts which is against Paypal rules? Even if i did not violate multiple accounts as the previous one was closed, do I have to take the burden of the chargeback which I have no idea of what happened? I am from India. I had my previous account verified using my credit card and also had my normal debit card linked to it. So will they spot the clone? Anyone has any experience regarding this? i do not want to get my paypal account limited in any case. I have PAN card so the new rules should not be a problem. I will not be using my account to receive money but only to send money to people providing services in DP. So I have to attach my credit card in any case. Should I consider starting the account in another of my family members name? I am new to taking services in DP so I am not so sure if sellers would accept payments from different name (I would certainly take guard cause there is no way to know if the account was hacked or not)
