When you go to Paybox site, do read everything! One thing from the start was that all moneys given out to beta testers will be in a closed loop system. EG: you will not be able to withdraw that money to your bank account. How it will be used to buy stuff from vendors using paybox has yet to be fully explained. Way I look at it? Worse that can happen is that all the time I spend there will be wasted. Best that can happen is that when they start I should have over $5,000 in my account.
well i have registered still. but am signing up not because of the money-if the money comes fine and if it doesn't fine. am only giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I remember signing up for another site a little while back that started like paybox here. It was called greenzap or something like that. They also disappeared after a while with everyones money. I dont like it when a company has to pay so much money to earn clients. That usually means that they cannot even afford this amount so they have to take from somewhere else. Come on. If they have to pay $50 per sign up or referral or whatever, then if their rates are even 5% per transaction they have to have everyone commit to doing $1000 transactions just to break even. That is not going to happen and the fee is too high to start with anyways. I say wait and see, but I also think that people should ask the right questions. I would stick to the trusted and true processors like paypal or alertpay or even liberty reserve. These guys have been around for along time and know their business.
PayBox is a 'closed box' for now however... The PayBox shops are now open and testing transactions with PayBox funds. I have bought several digital items I have been wanting with PayBox funds so the shops have now added value to the $50.00 balance, $5.00 per referral or daily log-in bonuses they give you. The way I see it is they fly or they don't. If they do I will be very happy and others I have referred will be very happy. The plan is to 'open the box' when they have enough active users to do it on a competitive level. Right now, at the rate they have been growing it is forecast to be early 2011. They say they have decided to use money they would normally use on advertising to pay 'EarlyBird' users to help test and suggest features and navigation/functionality of the website as it grows and new features are implemented. So far I have been a user for a couple months and there is no hint of a scam at all. I was involved in the PayPal, AlertPay and E-Gold launches that everyone was saying were scams while I was pulling down hundreds of dollars. I hated to see those end and I will hate to see this one end too. If this materializes into something in early 2011 I will have several thousand dollars ready to spend on anything I want, anywhere I want. Stay tuned to this one, better yet go register... You have nothing to lose. Check out the shops, especially the digital downloads, use some of the $50 they give you to join. Seriously... You have nothing to lose, grab a e-book or something at no cost to you at all. You can thank me later, when the box opens.
I joined this site several weeks ago with a balance of $530.25 until a so called mrlips(username) hacked into my account and stoled the whole amount..I have not sent anyone a payment!! I emailed their staff a week ago, but no response as of yet...This is pathetic and low down!! Everyone BEWARE!! I am giving up on this site and you all should to before you get hacked and ripped off!! OOHH!! I wish I can find out who he is and hack his account!! BASTARD!!!
I dont trust new payment processor, I think paypal is the best so far and I dont have any problem using it.
