New pages at my site www.arounddelhi.com indexed almost immediately-how?

    Hi friends,
    I recently added some new pages on my site www.arounddelhi.com. Within two days of doing it they were indexed by Google with a good ranking and PR ranks. Is the Google dance on now a days or Google continuosly searches for pages instead of intermittently. Can you throw light on this.

    Yeah check your logs ... Googlebot seems to come around once a day or every two days at the latest for my PR5 site. Not sure if the PR ranking makes Googlebot visit more, but you never know.

    Most new pages we've made get indexed within days. YAY for Google!

    Google is really quick these days. For example, this thread was spidered by Google within 2 hours of being posted.

    I've noticed google really sticks around a website that has a forum also. I get most of my pages spidered daily now.

    I think google checks to see if a page is updated daily, and if so comes back daily etc - from playing with my sitemaps i've noticed simply by putting the date in with a spot of php you can ensure those pages are checked daily
