    Dear Google Engineers,

This is what we want from Toolbar PageRank:

[add what new features you want]

    Mine:

    1. Daily updates of the toolbar pagerank.

    2. A scale of 1 to 1,000, not 1 to 10.

    3. A clickable 'black bar' for sites penalised or not passing PageRank, detailing the reason why.

    4. While you are at it, ditch the 'sample' of backlinks and list evey backlink to a page you know of.

Unless we get some info from the plex soon, I'm emailing Mythbusters to get to the bottom of this.

A PR which a littel part of it could be voted by some toolbar users, as you might be investigating

Well backlinks wouldn't be what they are trying to figure out as to why you rank the way you do as all they would have to do is check MSN or Yahoo to get that number....

Wouldn't it. They seem to want to give us less and less info though, so it would be one hell of a reversal if they did up the info flow. Imagine that, going from grey bar to tons of info. Can you imagine the outbreak of linking!

What I said in somewhere else, Google won't give us a reliable "PR" so we could concentrate in it.

Is good for Google (or so they think) to difficult SEO

Well, no new features, not even a pagerank update. I feel ripped off.

I know it will never happen but sure would be good if they changed the scale to out of 1000 and updated daily.

How about traffic rank, they have most of the searches, they have adsense and adwords, i am sure they could be fairly accurate.

It'll be more accurate than alexa at least. ;)

And I belive they do do this to some extent. Sometimes you see the url change to google.com/url for search results.

Yes, negative PageRank would be good. You could tell penalty from problem or glitch.
