I have a site with about 1k pages that is pretty old and ranks very well in google for some huge keywords. I obviously don't want to make google mad, but I now have about 30k new pages to publish. Please give me your thoughts on how I should time the release of those 30k new pages, without doing damage to either the new or old pages as far as google is concerned. Do I only let google find 1k of the new pages per day? Maybe 500 the first day, 1k the second, 3k the third etc. Or am I being too aggressive or too conservative. In addition to your answer, I would like your reasoning as well. Plan to start pushing the switch later today. Thanks
I would publish a hand full of the pages a day. Don't be too aggressive or you could trip some filters.
Can you control that google today find 1k of your pages, and tomorrow another 1k? I don't think so you can do that. Just get backlinks for the main page, and put links to internal pages, submit a sitemap, and then the rest will be google's job.
Yes, I can control it. They are dynamic pages, and I can just not let selected variables "go live". Was just wondering if 1k per day would be acceptable as it would take a month to feed all of the new pages at that rate.
