New Niche Directory

    Hello All,

    This directory probably will not help any of you (unless you are from Pittsburgh, or want to buy adverts on a PR0 site... haha)... but i wanted to post here to say thanks to everyone helping me with this project.

    PittsburghSource.net is a portal for everything Pittsburgh. You would be suprised at how little this niche market has been utilized so far... i am basically #1 on MSN after only 2 months, Yahoo hasnt indexed yet, and Google has about 1300 pages that are just starting to show up in searches. I hope to make money at this, but i know there is still so much more work to be done.

    The script was built with the free biz-firectory, WhatIFind helped me with the Mod_rewrite (since GoDaddy doesnt allow mod-rewite we had to find away around it). Everything else, i either tought myself PHP with some DP member's help, or found scripts out online to help me do what i needed.

    I am very happy with the way this directory has turned out and I plan on using the same Biz-directory script to do other citys... but that will be way in the future.

    Thanks for the compliments WhatiFind It was a lot of work... a lot of thanks to you too. I would never have found a way around the mod_rewite without your help.

    uuummmmmmmm, no.

    Its ok, Us Pittsburghers hate the Cowboys too. Not as much as those Browns though.... lol
