$1000 lol Some of'em cost a lot more than my car 30k isn't that much Compare Jap sports cars to GM sports cars Compare their Jap cars to GM economy cars: Cobalt starts at $13,740 Aveo starts at $9,995 Malibu starts at $17,805 Wow those economy cars are real expensive and yes they do get good gas mileage And we aren't talking 15-20 years back, yeah Jap cars might of been engineered better 15 years ago, I'm talking nowadays
Chinese cars have a long way to go. The Chery models were supposed to be introduced to the US market in 2007, but their cars can't pass stringent USA emissions and crash tests.
FUGLY... That's my two cent's worth, not to mention that they'll probably be eaten by iron moths in less than year as they fall apart while you're driving them.
I'd like to support American cars (not ford). Unfortunately no one makes a turbo 4 or 6cyl 2dr car. Everything is a bloated sedan.
Cars look cool, but I am really concerned over their quality. They seldom pay attention in that dept.

Tat Safari Dicor and Mahindra Scorpion and safe and good cars. Tata cars are really high on maintenance though.
