    So guyz
i am here to give you cool news,
we all know that windows vista has its own security cover (i.e. built in security from viruses), but still they are delaying the launch.
Microsoft wants symantec to get ready for the additional anti-virus support, for which symantec is not ready yet ( this means they are still in development mode). Moreover, companies from all over the world are concious about the in- build protection of microsoft.

However microsoft people are only concerned about the symantec and wants to cover the windows vista under the security threat any .

This what i came to know. but please dnt ask about the source as people will throw me out of the office , if they came to knw:D .

So enjoy and wait till next updates..

Microsoft, probably under the duress of the EU chumps, opened key portions of it's source code for Vista so AV makers couldn't whine (cheese eating surrender monkies...) about OneCare owning the market once Vista rolls out live.

They have a right to whine because MS giving apps away for free with their OS (example the IE vs Netscape war) is what caused the monopoly. If you care about monopolies, then you would care about MS bundling free Virus and Spyware utilites and not providing a minor api so customers can actually have a choice. If you don't care about monopolies, you probably don't know what they are.
