New!! Near Finished Awesome CSS Site

I updated the design quite a bit. Possibly need to change the banner as a lot of people dont seem to like the shape in it. Neways heres my design, coded with subpages, php upload form and email forms. Need to add the sitemaps and check some coding errors but pretty much done and ready to add content.

All comments are welcomed on design and on adsense placement and blending and other general seo.

That is an excellent design. I like the light/texture effects you use. However, I feel that the current size of the banner is exagerated and your logo is a bit small when compared to the other elements of your design.

 

Yeah I going to change the logo part and remove that shape. Oh and sorry for the "awesom" over the top title for the thread. Just getting attention.

How much do you reckon this site would be worth developed with more content and with the domain? Also any ways to improve I am happy to hear.

I was thinking I could introduce a cms system with:

Log in, submit templates, top 5 submitters
Easily add downloads with thumbnails and description, downloaded counter (fit with design )
Article section for tutorials to easily add them.
News system for front page.
Still seo friendly with heading tags.

Do you think its wise for me to hire someone to do this or just stick with static pages with php submission forms? He was charging around $60-100 i think. Good price and worth it?

 

I too dont like the logo area. Other than that, it looks pretty good!

 

What are the opinions on getting php coding done?
