"How to Write a Hit Rock Song in 1 Hour" on Clickbank

    http://www.danosongs.com/hitsongmethod/

This is my first eBook that I wrote myself based on years of personal lessons in songwriting.

The sales page explains it all.

P.S. I have been reading this forum for years but this is the first thing that is worthwhile for me to post. I hope that is OK.

I actually promote quite a few music related products pretty successfully... This seems like a somewhat interesting idea but I'm not sure about your execution of it (also I'm not sure the market is big enough to make it worth while.)

I think the centering on your salesletter looks really awkward. You should center your headings, but your paragraphs should be left. Also you are getting some of those weird question mark in a diamond things going on. That's not good.

The commission would only be about $12 on this... I just don't think too many people will bother promoting something that has not such a great sales letter combined with a questionable market size and and a low pay out.

I don't see what Zibblu's talking about. There aren't any diamond question mark things that I can see. And as for the layout, I think it looks quite fine. I was in the printing industry for almost 20 years, and was a typesetter for over ten. I think the layout looks good, the quality and content seem adequate, and it seems professionally written. As far as comission, I really don't know the first thing about how that part of this game works. I'm a newbie to the whole marketing thing, but as for my opinion, I like it. HAve a good one.

Zibblu, thanks. I fixed the alignment (and I think it looks MUCH better) and I think the question marks were because I accidentally saved in wordpad instead of notepad before upload, its fixed as far as I can see. I also added allot more sales copy. I know I need some more testimonials since its a brand new product. Was it "not such a great sales letter" because of the alignment or content?

bigmong - thanks for the vote of confidence.

As far as the price point and commission goes I'm not sure that I could charge more for this on its own so maybe I should look at adding more to the package?

I appreciate your feedback since this is my first eBook and I am new to Clickbank too.

Does anyone still see the weird question marks?

It looks a lot better now - but I still see the diamonds with question marks. I'm using Firefox btw.

I think you may be surprised by what people will pay for something... If you really sell them on the idea that they can write a HIT song then they will think it's worth quite a bit. Maybe play up the angle of exclusive information that they can't find anywhere else. That sort of thing...

And yes, adding some bonus material may help your conversions and your ability to ask for a higher payout.

    Thanks Zibblu,

    I needed to add the <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
tag so that browsers automatically detect utf-8 which is what DreamWeaver and Notepad saves in. Your browser may have been on ISO or another Western encoding from the last page it was on and because my page did not have that meta tag the browser did not know. I tested it in every encoding and looks good now...Firefox always picks UTF-8 for the page when it loads.

Also to address your other feedback, I changed the commission to 75% and I also added the start of an affiliate resource page.

    Anyway, its getting better.

    Dan
