I think you're missing the functionality WebshoppeSolutions, click on the drop down menus, (World Wide Web, Jobs, News, etc.) and choose one of the many search engine choices. As you choose a different SE you'll see it's name appear on the right side of the logo. Then do a search.

Nice site and features. I think if the menu or navigation bar was maybe a little more obvious or that all those options were there it could and would be used more. Honestly I didn't even notice it until it was pointed out that all those options were there and available. The site is very fast and that is a good thing. I'll play around with it a bit more and see how it goes. Nice work!

    I understand that part.

I was speaking of being a player, unique in the business .. independent.

The trouble with developers these days is that it's too easy to present systems that already exist.

I think that having a gateway to all of the other already existing search engines is a cool thing .. you've done that, and it seems to look and function great.

A search engine to me, is when you actually own the database(s) ... when you actually write your own algorithms, deploy your own parsing agents, and write your own ad apps. A search engine to me is something that does all of it's own grunt work on the www, and then, presenting it's "own" results to the world.

There aren't many around that can actually build an engine, supplied with an autonomous parsing utility, that feeds it's own index.

    WebshoppeSolutions is correct.

making a searchengine by only processing the results from the big sites may be a nice feeling but is not likely to be profitable :(

Well.... your search engine is searching within google search... So, indirectly you are seeing results put up by google search..Bring on some thing really new that could have its own results and all the features that a search engine contains..
    Regards...!!!!
