What do you think of my new reality show idea? I was contacted by the producer of TV Land's How'd You Get So RIch and was asked for help in finding people that would be good to interview on the show. I told the producer of my idea for this new reality show and he said that it was a great idea and that he would forward it to someone else. I think the show would be best fit for MTV. It is called "MTV's Teen Mogul" Since MTV has already gone into the whole teen thing with MTV Teen Cribs, I think this would be a great idea. It is kind of on the track of American Inventor and the Shark thank, but this time it is going to focus on talented teenagers. There would be a panel of 3 judges, who are (or were) self made teenage moguls in their own right. I have an idea of who the 3 judges could be. Ashley Qualls - 19 years old - Founder of million dollar website Whateverlife.com - makes $70,000 a month Catherine Cook - Co-Founder of social networking site MyYearbook - over 4 million members - makes $10 million a year Ephren Taylor - Made first million by 17 * Youngest Black CEO of a Publicly Traded Company The Premise: Kids from ages 13 to 19 go in front of the three judges. They propose their innovative ideas, inventions, etc. The 3 judges then decide separately whether the teen will go on to the next round or not. Each judge will have a buzzer and will hit one button that says "yes" or "no". The contestant needs 2 yeses to advance to the next round. In the next round, the teen contestants will get another chance to prove to the 3 judges why they should be crowned MTV's Teen Mogul. The judges will pick their 3 favorites. Then, America will have the last vote and for their favorite Teen Mogul. The winner will receive a $50,000 check to help futher their idea/invention and the help of the 3 judges to help catapult their idea/invention into a major success. I think this is a great idea, because I know how hard it is for teens to get their ideas heard and for them to get their inventions out into the world. The teenagers who were shown on American Inventor had no chance of winning against all of the technologically smart and educated contestants. What do you think? Would you watch it?
thanks. yeah, I agree, there are way too many reality shows. but I think this one is much more meaningful than lets say Jersey Shore lol
