I've been in the webmastering thing for 3 months now, started directly with blogs (have about 3), but had the time to concentrate at only one, because that's the only one i was really passionate about(I wouldn't recommend writing about you don't like or not passionate about). Until now i've been getting pretty good results, 400.000 alexa rank, 140.000 tech, 700-1000 uniques a day, but the things is i can't seem to make any money. My only source of income is adsese, and make around 5 $ per month( yes i know, it's pathetic). I know I should try other forms of affliates but none seem to work, i've tried amazon ( didn't put affliate links in content tho, i should try that), but didn't work out, tried some ppc ads from cj as well, but didn't work very well. Now i realize that my blog can't possibly do well from ppc adverts( because i care to much about my design and readers and am not willing to sacrifice design and atmosphere for a few dollars extra) so i should try banners. The problem is i don't know any advertisers. Can someone guide me to some banner/pay per impression adverisers? How much could i get for a site-wide banner ? if your interested my blog is ZMEmusic.com.
Did you try participating in banner networks? I have used Project Wonderful, but as a sponsor, so I don't know if you can have good income. You can also place advertising information at your site, so advertisers can contact you themselves if they find your blog interesting
