I am Duke from Malaysia. First of all, let me briefly give you introduction about myself.
Many years ago, I was SFI affiliate. I was young that time, still in high school, so basically I do not plan out my strategy well. I did some crazy promotions and search engine submissions of my affiliate website. I was not consistent that time and just quit. But surprisingly I got my first US$10 check afterwards.

Right now, I have some regrets of why I did not really plan my strategy well, which would enable me to grow further and able to earn 5-6 figure incomes. As I expand my knowledge further in online marketing and SEO by reading eBooks, articles, and watching videos, I find out that the competition is quite tough these days.

Recently, I bought my first domain name and hosting account. After I design and create content for my site, my project fail to takeoff, as Amazon rejected my domain because I am using copyrighted word on it.

I am still confused about what is the opportunity available in online marketing these days. Is it possible to build SEO sites to rank on Google and enjoy the free traffics, despite facing the fierce competitions?

I could not carry on solo like this. So I decided to shot a post here and to look for new friends who can help me along the journey. I always love to share and help each other out. I also welcome members who wants to work together and benefits each other in the long run. I am ready to have discussion further through online messenger.

Thanks everyone, I am going to stick around here, while updating my knowledge in marketing. While reading a book about web marketing. I come across this definition - "Marketing is the act of presenting something to someone else".

The only difference about web marketing is, you add online word at the end of the definition. There is some skills from traditional marketing that can be used online, but there also some new skills like Seach Engine Optimization that need to be learned. Overall, there are quite a number of skills to learn, for example: researching, planning, budgeting, project management, copywriting, analytical and technical skill. Lets build upon this foundation and success will come to you.
