hey guys and gals, So far this forum has a lot of great information, I'm learning a lot about adsense. I've been using adsense for about 14 months now and over the course of those months I've come up with a few questions. What's your average number of clicks per impression?? Since my last payment I have 5,822 impressions and 34 clicks, is that an ok conversion rate or am I way low? When I look at the adsense info my overall impressions per day is lower than the number of impressions that the channels add up to. For example: so far today I have 30 over all impressions, but when I look at my channels it shows 19, 2, 6, 49, 6. My only thought on this is that the channel that has 49 impressions today actually has two ads on some of the pages so each ad counts as an impression. Do you think that's the case? I'm already planning on getting some pictures to put on top of some of the ads so increase my click rate. My site is www.moparregister.com, it's a forum site like this one. I know I have a boat load of competition in that area but I didn't make the site to make money, I made it for myself and to learn more about sites. If you guys have any suggestions please let them fly, I have pretty thick skin so if you have criticism let that fly too. Thanks, Squat
Be really careful about putting pictures above your Adsense ads Squat! Google may ban you for this as it runs contrary to their policies! Best to you, and please be a little more cautious! Regards, Dave.
