New member needs some advice and help

I'm new here, as you can see from my post count and iTrader.
I joined here because I've been lurking for some time and saw that DP is a great place to network with others and do honest transactions.

I do understand that being new, I can't expect to go very fast, but I was hoping to start with some small deals ($25 - 50) and build up my reputation. I also do understand that I can't start offering anything here until I have a minimum number of posts; but there were a couple of offers I liked, I've interacted with the members and had a great response.

The problem is that right now I only have an unverified paypal (trying to get it verified), and the people I've talked to either don't have paypal (suggestions for moneybookers / egold) or will accept paypal only from members who have a track record here, especially when it's an unverified paypal account. I don't have the moneybookers or egold, nor a track record here :(

Rather than just give up on the opportunity, I'm looking for suggestions / advice here.

    1) Would there be any established members willing to try me out and do the transaction on my behalf?
    2) Or if you don't want to risk paypal, another option - I'm ok at researching topics, finding unregistered domain names, signing up for free giveaways and downloading stuff, installing wordpress, or other such grunt work that all webmasters have; Can I do that work for you, and after the work is satisfactory, you pay the amount due on my behalf?

    Any other suggestions welcome, too.

I'll need to verify with the sellers about their requirements, but I'm guessing that if you have a decent track record & itrader rating here, verified paypal & money bookers accounts, that's all that's they will need.

    Thanks in advance.

keep posting some good and helpful posts, and you will see your posts and reps grow! use the freebes sections, that's a nice place to begin!

after 25 posts and 14 days of time you will be able to post threads and posts in the buy sell section also! then try the smaller deals, those deals will give you some itraders to start off!

don't break any rules, read the rules and follow them, that will sure help you to get a quick start!:)

    Hey Bob,

iTrader basically lets people know if you are good to deal or trade with, or buy from.

If you get a lot of +1 iTrader comments people will do more business with you because you have a good reputation. Rep is everything in a forum like this. ;)

Just remember to try and give goo deals, be straight up with people, and deliver what you promise, and I'm sure you will do well in no time! :D

    Hope this helps...

    Mary

Hi, thanks for the replies and advice.

I am building up my post count steadily, don't want to spam the boards with the "I agree" kind of posts that add post count but don't help in the long run. But if there's anyone who can help me out with transactions where my newbieness is a negative, that would be nice...

    Anyone?

Well the best way to earn some itraders, is to do forum posting jobs, there is a lot of offers in the Services section (BUY/TRADE/SALE Section), most members offering these jobs will accept to deal with you since they have nothing to lose :), and when you do a good job you will be repped too.

    good luck

In my opinion, what you require to do the most is to start making more posts.Try to concentrate on reaching an initial target of about 500+ posts and then start hooking your self with iTrader by doing some transactions.By this steps you can grow to the extend of reaching your goal
