New Media Guy Trying Something New In A Link Buying World

    Hello! I just thought I'd introduce myself.

    I typically focus on making real world businesses money by bridging the gap between them and the online world. Now I want to bridge the world of site flipping, link selling, new site promotion, etc. with new media.

    I've connected mainstream businesses and media outlets with new media reach and viral marketing...along with long-tail, committed niche audiences, etc. My media company produces content in several niche markets and then we build relationships to make that content available in as many venues or syndication outlets as possible. We use this to bridge that gap between real world business needs and online communication and research.

    As a serial entrepreneur, I have been fascinated watching what transpires here everyday. New businesses, sites, projects, ventures are launched everyday. Mini (and some not so mini) empires are developed, traded, sold and flipped on forums like DP and I find it fascinating.

    I want to contribute to that healthy market by integrating the rapid fluid nature of it with my media outlets. Media has been fractured for some time now...in the way we access it, digest it. The interesting thing is that so many in new media (podcasting, blogging, online broadcasting), and yes I'm aware that's an argument all by itself, focus on one portion of it all and overlook the power of brand awareness, SEO savvy, and long-tail exposure effects. I have a new project LOL.

    Anyway, I know I'm a little dry...my wife is the social one, but I am looking to spending some quality time here. Thanks.
