Hi guys, I'm looking for ideas to market my social networking site, (www.peepsparty.com). Its a free to join site and have loads of features. Only problem is i have like 600 members and i need many more and need some good ideas on how to market it better to the wide world. Thanks Steve
Does it have a high PR ranking? Is it any good in getting sites indexed in goggle ? If it is release a viral report on how you got indexed in google and you'll soon find loads of people joining up
Nope, I don't see it that way, mate! These 600 members are not your problem, they are your solution, if you know what I mean. Like, for example, if YOU manage to make these 600 members feel special or if YOU mange to give them certain privileges due to their continuous membership, maybe these 600 members will not transfer their loyalty to another social network but be a part of your core users group who will eventually share what a great forum you have (there's no better marketing than 'word of mouth") and more people will join in. The question is do you know how to convert your forum so that it makes people feel special?
What turbulence said is golden, with 600 people you can go very far. Ask them to help make peepsparty everything they want it to be. A few small things I noticed... I'm in Sweden, so relatively close, yet the site loaded extremely slow, might want to take a look at that, once you launch a new marketing campaign that could be one thing that could lessen the response (might just be my connection to the server location). Also think about what your site really is... when i first looked at the page I was confused by "home of the Internet", it didn't tell me why I care about being at your site. Possibly something that says "the Internet delivered to you at one site" (not those words of course, but that idea). Give your members a vision of what your site is, make them a part of that vision and you will go very far! Best of luck!
thanks for the info guys ill try some of the ideas out and get the member that already have to get the word out more
