Hello, I am already a successful online business man. I know all the back door secrets to online marketing. But I am in need of some opinions from others. This year I was thinking of marketing through nationwide newspaper, radio, online media stations, and possibly short television ads. How do you feel about advertising outside of the internet about Internet based services? I offer good services and I have made many people a success with my services. All information can be found in my signature. Anyways please give me your opinion on advertising online based business in the real world. Thank you very much for your time -Steven Truman
Steve, I worked in the Yellow Page Industry for several years and saw many Internet Marketers both fail and succeed using traditional advertising methods. A few good friends also worked in newspaper, radio, and TV so we traded customers, national level, large region and local. We all realized that if it made sense for the online business, and they made good choices, it worked well. For example, some large city phone directories provide special features for Internet Only businesses now, as do newspapers. Most impressive was when we targeted well. For example, I highlighted several pet-based services, that were online only, to my friend and I suggested the pet classified. It worked very well. However, the "work from home" bombed. Hope this helps! Interesting because in another thread, someone with human/pet memorial sites needed customers and I suggested the newspaper obituaries and pet classifieds. I think in the right market it works very.
