That's the thing. I want to make it look like some noob designed it from the ground with zero knowledge. Those in need of money will think subconsciously "ok, this probably requires SOME kind of indepth knowledge. Oh wait, this page sucks, so yeah, I'll buy the ebook".
That seems to catching around this forum lately...... people launching products with less than glamorous sales pages and then saying " It's supposed to look like a 5 year old did it and it coverts like hell!"............I really don't get it? I see pages like that (not talking about yours specifically) and I automatically go "BS, they can't even afford a web designer"......then if I see a professional looking sales page I go "hmmm...this looks promising". I know they invested time and money into making it look good. It's probably just me but I wouldn't tackle it that way, I'd want to make anything I do look as slick and professional as possible (although you wouldn't believe it if you saw some of my sucky looking sites )
"This guy obviously isn't even trying to sell the method, and he didn't spend enough time designing this page. Yeah, he's probably a loser. A loser that makes a lots of cash... damn, I want to be like that"
I still reckon it's crap and the stats don't look very impressive. http://www.cb-analytics.com/product.php?id=DIGGOMARK
The only and major difference is that my site is meant to look like that, while the cb-analytics site is trying too hard to look good, ultimately failing in every aspect (especially with those ads).
And the impressive stats are still there: http://www.cb-analytics.com/product.php?id=DIGGOMARK Looks like that crappy looking sales page that you wanted is really working................not!
