I have no idea about your sales page - because I couldn't read it. Wrong colors, wrong fonts... no sub-headlines, looks like one big text... Maybe you should work on it for a little
Okay, I read your sales page... and I could almost swear it will not convert... I hope you will not take this as bashing but as helpful criticism... - The design of the page - is simply horrible. I am talking about font which is hard to read, You have at least 7 different colors in text! 3 colors is more than enough... Headline is not big enough. - You start off by talking about SCAMS - this turns me off as a customer. If there are so many scams - why aren't you a scam? You must remember that your HEADLINE is where the potential customer decided if he should keep on reading the page or close it right away. So far - they will leave your page. - Now you keep talking about how you make this much money, how your day goes... but what about me? Don't you care for your customer? WHAT IS IN IT FOR ME? - Where is the long list of benefits? If I get no benefits - the product isn't worth it. - Where are the features? - I am still completely lost of what I will get inside your ebook... This is one of the reasons I will not buy, I simply do not know what I am buying. - Saying your ebook is only 5 pages is not a good thing. Unless you do an AMAZING job making the visitor believe that all he needs is 5 pages - he wouldn't buy. Believe me. - Why is your product so different? Why should I buy from you and not anyone else? You have the same 100% money back guarantee - so I might as well buy from someone else. You must show your visitor that your product is different and unique, you must explain why it is better than any other product out there. - Testimonials... You know they are fake, so do I. The potential customers have this inbuilt "B.S." system. They sens when something is a lie - and your testimonials sound like B.S. - they are also missing photos. Why not give out free review copies to DP members - at least you will get REAL testimonials and maybe some photos. ALEX from U.K. uses the word "Brilliant" and Fernando from USA says "Damn man, this is sick" - come on, that sound so fake and cliché... and the customers know it. - ORDER button/Call to Action is all the way at the bottom of the page? What's up with that? Way too far. You must add some calls to action earlier on the page. - Last but not least; if you make $500 a day - you can't hire a good web designer and a good copywriter? I am not here to say how much you make and what you should do with the money, but ANYONE stumbling upon this page will not believe that you make as much as you claim, if you did your site would be easy to read. The text would flow... This is from giving a quick glance, I simply do not have the time to go into all the details. Once again, I hope you will not take this as a "hate" comment, but you will consider some of these thought and apply them to your sales page. Good Luck, Alex
Some good points raised by Alex. The sales page needs some formatting love thrown on it. It's pretty hard to read.
Thanks for the feedback Alex. Indeed you are right about pretty much everything. The website looks very noobish, which it was intended to be. Although you're the first person to point out the scam part putting people off. There are currently 2 versions of this page - one that looks solid, professional and even kind of corporate and this. We'll be doing a/b testing with it. The idea here though was that someone - ahem - can make a sh*t load of money, yet can't even design a propper landing page. If he's so lame and is making that much money, it must be true!!111 But I'll keep in mind what you just said.
Point taken, BUT you may be losing a lot of potential customers along the way who just click onto something else. these days if I can't read a page, takes too long too load or I just don't like the colours I will click away somewhere else I have a very low tolerance to frustrating web pages and I spend a lot of money on different sites. I really would at LEAST limit your colours and try to format your line lengths which would make it heaps easier to read. As it is I would not spend any ppc sending people to that page because I don't believe the ROI will be in the black. I am trying to help!! Good luck
lol at DP interrogations. Interesting domain/site, even a monkey can do it - monkey see monkey do nes pas? Good luck mate, quirky effort who knows maybe it will work. N.
Tahoma font seems to work very well for conversions ( I think I spelled that right) I agree, even if the sites intention is to make it look like the site was created by someone who is not very good at it and making all that money is a bit too overdone. The colors make it really difficult to follow the text. Also, try Impact font for your headlines. Some of your top copy writers use big bold impact letters for thier headlines in the home business arena which is what I am quite familiar with myself.
Don't mean to start an argument, but why do you have 0 gravity on your product if it converts at 1:58.5 ?
Looking at the image included it seems that affiliates are not sending enough traffic to make it statisically significant - potentially 49 of those hops were affilliates checking out their own link to make sure it worked (50 rows = 49 affiliates + the vendor). Until affiliates are able to generate more hops with real traffic it will be hard to figure out if they are converting at the same rate as you are via PPC. The figure of 100 hops per day being sent by an affiliate would help you get a more accurate conversion rate... and I doubt any affiliate is sending that traffic yet judging by the numbers. All that is evident is that it has converted... but until there is more traffic it is hard to determine an accurate conversion rate (and even then it depends on the method of how the traffic arrived at the site etc).
