Matt, i am well aware that google updates PR every day. However, Chris' new directory wont get a green bar until next update. Personally, i couldnt care about this, but i think people will wait before they submit, as some people only care about PR.

came sooner than i expected. I thought he would let us minors spend our pocket money then come lay down the law. Seems he just set the benchmark for others to chase after. I think i may go to the casino, gamble all my savings, if luck is on my side i will outbid rob on all of chris' sites. then gambling has gone to a good cause making chris richer allthough i would hope he would spend it lowering his alexa even further! Seriously, when people talk about what they would do if they won £8 million on the lottery, i think stupid things like "i would invest $200,000 on my directory, starting my bidding $15,000 on big web links" i think im sad like that. i had a dream the other night that my directory got PR6. i woke up so happy then realised it was still PR0 and will probably only get PR5. After my boring little story, i will probably have a dream about traffic and alexa ranking tonight. I guess you could say i have passion about my bidding directory if i'm having sad little dreams about it
I just bid $52. I think I'm one of a select few DP members (besides directory owners) who buys links on every directory. Can you guys stop making new directories already? I'd like to have some money left for retirement.

Yes, I have had it in mind for a while since I realized how beneficial the links would be for submitters. Work started on it a few weeks ago as you mentioned.

I guess you must be quite fond of them after the success of big web links? Or maybe you decided you had a few phpLD based sites and wanted to even it out a bit. Either way, im sure it will be a success. And you've started spending - noticed it was submitted to one of Jeffs sites, saw it in his latest links page
For strong sites that will send a lot of traffic in addition to link value, it seems the bidding systems works well since submitters can opt to be listed on the homepage, control category placement, etc. Looking forward to seeing how much traffic it sends everyone and the link value it will deliver.
So far traffic is very low as expected. I havent got a hit yet according to Google analytics, but that is what i expect from such a new project. Not that i care, as www.webdirectorylist.com is my top referer, other than forums So thanks for the traffic from there PS: your sites are slipping right down the ranks on zorg links, theres about 3 or 4 links on top of you now seems some guys got themselves in a bidding war with the big guy Mike
