New Logo Question

the logo looks good..but if you have some good color combination with the background I think it's much better..if pink the best color combination is blue..it shows the text more dominant from the logo.Try to look out the logo below


it's really unique and more dominant and eye catchy right?

if you want something 2.0,change the text to rounded shape like Vagrounded and make it shining like grooveshark.com it's much better..that's my comment.

Dark on the top and light on the bottom would make it nicer i feel.
