Thanks Pixel Dynamics, Yes it's from scratch. - Mixed a Triangle (Arrow), Half a Circle (Top Part), and A box (Lock), turned into an icon.
Here are my new ones, i dont think they will win, but i think they are the most effective logos i have created, i prefer first one the best, but was trying some other fonts, first looks most professional, FeedBack Please

Hello, Heres a diffrent styled sheild: What do you think? Which sheild style and shape do you prefer out of the ones ive shown you? I also have a few other sheilds that Ive been playing with. Would you like to see them aswell? Regards, - Nick
Alright, as of the contest ending today, I will post all my entries together. Also, if you were to pick my design, I would be willing to mix and match with things you did like compared to things you didn't throughout this contest. (swoosh or not, sheild size, sheild shape, sheild style, color, etc) Good Luck Everyone! EDIT: Heres another entry: Regards, - Nick
Well, wasn't easy with so many great logos, and then we thought we had selected a good design but then the designer dropped out. Guess it goes to show you to follow through, never know huh. Well, it wasn't easy with so many great designs. Most of you did a great job through such a difficult competition but the winner is Pixel Dynamics I will contact to you within the next 48 hours to give you specs on the final deliverable. Thanks all and great work!
Not really relevant, was just trying to prove a point. I've run several logo contest and many times already I've seen a person considered in the 1 or 2 spot decide to not participate further. Just an interesting thing to see.
Good job Pixel Dynamics. I didn't drop out, by the way. I simply stated I wouldn't make anymore revisions as the logo was in a state that you either wanted it, or not. Meaning you could of chose my design and then I would of revised it further after purchase until you were completely satisfied. Time is short and more minor revisions before choosing weren't necessary if you liked my logo enough. Since you were asking around 8 others to also revise their designs while asking me I felt my time was better spent elsewhere. If you were only asking me and another to revise our logo's further, I would of done so. No hard feelings of course, I just wanted to make my position clear. Regards, Pete
GADOOD - I wasn't trying to point fingers. Ultimately, everyone has their reasons for giving up, competition is hard and in fact, the more people on DP, the harder they will get. If you noticed, the person who one also put a lot of effort into making it happen. Wasn't only you so don't take it to heart.
I didn't take it to heart at all nor did I 'give up', you aren't understanding my position at all. The fact is; you liked my logo a lot after the initial revisions I made - around four I believe. I stated I wouldn't be making any more revisions and anymore would have to be made post-purchase. If you don't feel that was fair of me after around 4 revisions already, that's cool. You cannot also ask 8 people to revise their logo's if you only really like a handful. It's unfair on them also. How many revisions did you order in this thread from people who's logo's you weren't seriously considering using? Too many. That's a lot of people putting in a lot of effort. My reasoning was: If you liked my logo such, you could of chose it and I would of made further revisions. You seem unhappy that I gave you this choice. You had the option of choosing my logo and me revising it until you were totally happy with it - but you felt I dropped out, or took offense to me stating I wouldn't make anymore revisions, therefore you chose a logo you weren't entirely happy with. That was your choice - so there's no reason to bring it up in the final post you made when you selected the winner. I did not drop out. You could of had my logo if you liked it best, and had it revised to your satisfaction. Regards, Pete
GADOOD - I think the challenge here is that you are looking for fair. No competition runner is going to accept those terms, it's equivilant of saying, until you pick me, im not working. That's not professional nor what would be expected. Actually, I can, I did and most delivered. Virtually everyone, that's the nature of the competition, all but one person wins. I guess that's why they call it a competition. Fact is that this is a competition, it's not fair as numerous people work for free whereas only 1 gets paid but that's what it is, a contest. Ultimately, if you are unwilling to follow through on your work, then don't participate but fact is and this is a perfect example, had you made only a few more revisions, you would have most likely won and instead, the user who had continued to make revision after revision did in fact win.
