The lightening bolt portion (in the middle) represents 'charge' and a swooping arrow pointing back represents the 'back'
I present my entry, haha. The end part was a little rushed, I just added the arrow and didn't spend much time on it.
prospeareht - really like the symbol approach, very fitting. Don't like the backwards K. Keep with the icon and try again with the text. inkstar - try again. ramakrishna - try again. [x[x]x] - try lower case, see if you can incorporate the puzzle piece or some variation into the logo. DaveyBoy - Let's stick with #1 and #3 color schemes, try lower case and see if you can add some type of icon. crazyryan - try again. GADOOD - I really like the red and black color scheme. I think you are on the right track, see if you can prepare some variations but keep with that approach. jinsona - looks great for a person site, just doesn't have a professional look. Try again.
Well, that would not be fair. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. The final decision will be left up to the mods on the site, it's just my job to streamline that decision process. I can tell you this: GADOOD - Really like the color scheme and professionalism. DaveyBoy - I like the straightforward bold approach. [x[x]x] - I think the puzzle idea has a lot of potential. prospeareht - The lock can go far. You may notice the general theme in what I feel works is a simple, bold and professional look. This forum isn't a gamers forum, nor talks about marketing in general, it's dealing with serious matters and needs a professional logo to match that theme. Ultimately it is a judgment call and there is no right or wrong answer but this should help guide the general process, I hope it helps.
GADOOD - Actually, this was much closer to the look and feel http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=2573325&postcount=47
