Issue, is that there so much "garbage" out there, so it more and more difficult for google to understand, what is where. Like , if i would like to buy Book, i do no need article how to buy book, i need a store online where i can purchase one. etc. So, we are creating our own problem, it like s circle, we wanna be rand better, we creating useless content, and then we fighting with same content , so our Main sites rank better, but not worst , than our " created content ".

I agree that soon we are going to have to use Google +1 that seems to be where google wants to go, or else they wouldnt have released it. Its like having likes or diggs soon google will push sites that its users have +1ed over a site that isn't

I think if you provide low quality backlinks then it comes under Google Panda update and you cannot get the desired output for your site. Traditional Stuffs are still working as everyone stated here , just need to use them wisely and that you can do very wisely.
