Wrong section, and you already know what I think of this design. And it's nowhere near worth £70 via paypal. Being honest I could replicate this in less than an hour, and make it a hell of a lot better. Hone your skills before attempting to make money of off sub-par design, that any talented designer would consider terrible.
As a designer you need to learn how to accept criticism. I have no personal gripe with you, it's just that you have more to learn. I gave you my opinion, and some suggestions. It's your choice to learn and grow from it, or let it bother you and stay the same.
Sparx, you are correct constructive criticism is a very good thing in the world of design. Constructive being the main word here rather than saying it looks bad you could say it looks bad and give some tips on how it could be improved. I think that the design could be improved if you didn't go so overboard on transparency. When it comes to websites people like a nice clean easy look.
True, but, there is no point in sugar coating it, the truth is its NOT a good design, and far from the asking price. sales threads like this are de-valueing the whole web design industry.. Now onto the constructive part, the layout is decent, structure wise, but the actual graphics are verry dated and plain, try looking at some up to date web design styles www.psdtuts.com www.smashingmagazine.com are great resources, read their articles, daily. And dont take critism so harshly you will never get better if you dont listen to other designers.
