Hi everyone, Yesterday I have launched my new product. Its on tax reduction strategies. The product is ‘Stop Donating your Money to IRS’ Approval came yesterday and the first sale was through this morning! It’s a HOT product for the coming tax season. I am selling this product at $37 and you make 50% of that. Take a look at the sales page by clicking http://www.planningyourtax.com I hope you guys like the site, feel free to comment and make suggestions. I have put a lot of effort into creating this product and researching the ‘tax’ niche. 130 million Americans pay taxes and advice on tax reduction strategies is more than welcome in these hard times And you can see that I have taken a straight-forward approach in creating and selling this product. It is a great product to promote and this niche is not at all saturated. I have researched a list of long tail keywords, which can get high ranking easily. I can send you that. Banners are being prepared and they will be ready shortly. Besides, if any affiliate needs any type of specific materials or any help please feel free to pm me
You are not going to get many takers around here for a measly 50%......you do realize how much effort goes into promoting products don't you?
Hey congratulations, looks like your product has good potential, but yes, i agree with my buddies uo there, increase your commission, maybe to something like 70% or 75%, that way you'll get much more affiliates. Cheers1
I know the efforts by affiliates. However, I have worked very hard on this project and tried to put in my long experience in the book. I think 50% is reasonable.
Your opinion does not matter. Affiliates Expect 70%+. You can write the best E-book in the world, but unless you get traffic from US then your product is worthless.
You can think all you want but you'll come back later on a raise you commission because no one is promoting your product so why not just raise the commission now and save wasted time. It doesn't matter to us how hard you have worked on your project, it means nothing to us. All that matters is how much we get paid if we promote your product and make a sale. I'm not even bothering to look at your sales page unless it 70%+
Ok, ok I am unaware of the market conditions. Thats why I made the announcement here. I am going to change the commission to 70% Hope now people get what you wanted and I will get more sales
I am glad you changed your offer. Almost every other product is offering a 70%+ commission on sales, so it would have been difficult for you to compete for affiliates. That would have been a shame as I think your product has potential, although you should make sure that all the advertised strategies are legal, to cover yourself.
Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents here on the commission debate as I agree with both sides. There ARE some (although very few) products in the marketplace with nice gravity scores only giving 50%. Also, does anyone remember Water4Gas??? But, you will not attract many affiliates from DP unless you offer 75%. That's just how it is. Akin to what TerryD said, most affiliates won't even bother to look at your page unless you give 75%. Scotty
Rates aside, try figuring out a 20$ income for your affiliates...which would come to about 70%, that atleast makes the ppc costs much easier to bear, and ppc affiliates will be your bread and butter. That aside, you've tapped into a very profitable unexploited niche-kudos to your creativity. You might want a professional writer of some sort to take a look at your sales page though-it reads like it's written by an Indian, so having a native english writer change it will make it much smoother to read and more convincing overall, otherwise one has to stop and stutter while reading along. The page looks real nice though you've done a bang-up job on the graphics and design. Good luck with this project, Medic.
I totally agree with you on this one. It looks like a great product as I said before, and it could be definitely a big seller as Zibblu mentions, but it needs a polish and some affiliate material.
You need some more information on your affiliate page: http://www.planningyourtax.com/affiliate.php You don't even include your CB ID... I hate having to search around for that, you know? You definitely have to include that on your affiliate page. That's basic info.
Thanks all for your interest. I will be improving the affiliates page shortly. And I will certainly have a re-work on the home page.
As suggested by most of you, I have made improvements in the affiliates page. I have offered more support in banners, covers and other material. Have a look and let me know your feedback
