Hi guys i am working on a new concept where-in the site wont be an actual directory but a place where owners can write interactive articles and start discussions, where organic traffic will be high.
    advantages:
    1.the usual back linking
2.increased traffic from do follow links and browsing.
3.a good forum/directory to find new upcoming sites.

so if any of you have interesting websites or blogs related to celebrities, web technologies, sports, cars, bikes, movies, music, etc and need free traffic and back linking them post
    "im interested"

please dont pm me..the site will take 3-4 days to be up...will pm all those who are interested.

So basically, it's a forum and article site.

Is this really a good idea, let's see, Forums take up massive time to run, are difficult to monetise and article services are a dumping ground for crap links.

I don't bother with either running my article section anymore or placing my own articles or pay much attention to my forum these days. I would be wasting my time, so it makes me chuckle every time when people convince themselves this is the way to go, or that this idea is somehow new and never been seen before.

    - my advice, forget it and think of something else or this will waste your time something cronic. Ok it's your time and you can do what you like, but forums are not easy to get right, and again you'd really need to go with a niche idea with this for it to attract new interest.

    I wish you luck :)

If it won't be a directory then perhaps this is the wrong place to post? The concept you speak of isn't new either, I'm sure I've seen it before.
