    It was first seen on a couple of years age when adsense started to play with the visuals of the ads.

    it's definitely not a fake.
    i can verify what others are saying about premium google clients (i.e. people that spend over a certain amount with adwords) get to access new tools in adwords interface like sitelinks. standard clients get to play with the new advertising forms when google choose to roll them out to the general public.
