New Keyword Tool

    Hi,

I've been working on a new keyword tool (http://www.dawjee.com/) and was hoping that interested webmasters would be able to give me some feedback on it.

The tool aims to estimate how hard it will be to achieve a high search engine position by analysing things such as the page rank, keywords in title, keywords in url, overlaps between Yahoo and Google results.

It also suggests similar terms. So users can drill down from a general term, to analyse more specific terms that will hopefully be less competitive. For example, "Dave Ramsey" is a more specific term than Dave.

Finally, there is also a keyword density tool, that is used when analysing individual sites. For example, if a user is analysing the term "dave", they could use the tool to analyse the keyword densities of the top 10 search engine results (from yahoo and google). this could be useful for identifying patterns.

Any feedback on this tool will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    fcmisc.

    poker
    Ranking Difficulty (0-10) 4.74

    google
    Ranking Difficulty (0-10) 5.36

I think that these results are crazy ;) those two keywords for me should be so high to rank well :)

but still the design looks great and works very fast :)
by the way I always get PR 0 in "Google search results" for every website

On Google search results section PR for all websites is shown as zero, but it's not.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The PR script appears to have stopped working. But I can't find one that works. I've posted a request for help on the issue here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=692843

Update: the PR script is now working again. So the site now reports non zero pageranks.

    Hey Markas,

The crazy results were due to the problem with the PR script, which is now fixed. The rankings are now:

    Poker 6.88
    Google 8.10

These metrics should be a more accurate.:)

    Regards,

    fcmisc.

Dude, you still haven't got it right.

The keyword "poker" is seriously hard to rank for. To put it in presepective, some companies are paying up to $10m to get on page 1 on google.

    Hey conker_on_net,

Thanks for looking at my site.

The Ranking Difficulty is a weighted average of

    - the page ranks of the top 10 results in yahoo and google
    - the number of keywords in the titles and urls of the top 10 results

I'm aware that this is a little crude, but do now know what else I could use to gain a more accurate measure. The top 10 Google and Yahoo results only have average page ranks of 5.50 and 5.56 respectively.

If anyone here could suggest some ways in which I could gain a more accurate measure, I'd be very greatful.

    Kind Regards,

    fcmisc.
