    Hi,

I'm working on a new Keyword Tool and am looking for feedback on how to improve it.

It basically gets data from places such as Overture, and then produces reports to estimate how competitive the terms are.

For example, this report shows search terms with a high number of searches per day (from Overture US), but where the top 10 Yahoo results have a Google PR of 4 or less.

The main URL for this tool is http://kat.blapper.com/. Please be aware that it's only a beta version, and that I'm developing on the live site, so it'll be going up and down every now and then.

    Regards,

    fcmisc.

Compared to the other free keyword tools I've seen, it looks like yours provides a great deal of information! Since I'm so new to keyword research I'm afraid I don't have any useful suggestions (not being sure what info is important or not), but wanted to offer my congratulations on the tool.

Edit: One question: what does the "Advertising Competition" column represent? I Google'd a phrase that showed N/A in that column and found a good number of ads.

    Hi Jay,

Thanks for taking the time to look at my tool.

The "Advertising Competition" is from here: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

It can be N/A if the data isn't cached yet. Or google sometimes stop people bidding for trademarked terms. I guess I should add all this to the documentation, and somehow make this more obvious on the report page.

    Regards,
